We are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk (2 years experience min) to develop into an Accounts Payable Team Leader, managing a small team of 3 in the tea. The perfect role for an ambitious individual looking for a step up in their career. Hour are 9 – 5pm with 1 hour lunch.

You will be responsible for a small team of Accounts Payable Assistants, supervising and coordinating their every day work load. As an Accounts Payable Team Leader you will be the point of contact for escalated queries/complaints, responsible for ensuring deadlines, analysing and checking invoices have had correct codes and VAT has been applied, set sup new suppliers and assisting the team with everyday tasks.
You will be responsible for setting and ensuring the teams KPI’s are met and discussing these with the Finance Manager, who you will report into.

This company is looking for an ambitious Accounts Payable candidate, who is keen to progress and step up into a Team Leader role. Team Management / Supervisor experience is NOT required, but would be a benefit.
Experience required – purchase ledger experience, processing and coding of a high volume of invoices, resolving accounts queries, advanced Excel knowledge, excellent communication skills and the confidence to lead a team.
